Pianist en componist Philipp Rüttgers, van Duitse komaf, is al 15 jaar actief in de
Nederlandse jazzscene. Op zijn nieuwe album ‘Etudes of Shapes and Forms’ is hij
voor ’t eerst te horen in een akoestisch pianotrio met twee toonaangevende
instrumentalisten: Sun-Mi Hong op drums en Thomas Pol op contrabas.
